Five days before the election, controversial author Michael Wolff claimed Jeffrey Epstein showed him photos of Donald Trump with topless young women sitting in his lap at Epstein's Palm Beach home. The writer said this on his podcast Fire & Fury, Thursday. Those photos were in Epstein's safe and in one particular photo, there was a "telltale stain" on the front of Trump's pants and the girls in the photo were laughing at it.
The spectre of Epstein haunted Donald Trump's campaigning as the connection between the two has come on the radar -- though Trump's name did not come up in Epstein Files.
According to Michael Wolff, Epstein used to believe he could ruin Trump as he had such evidence with him. Trump had the habit of pitting his own people against each other while his competition was with Epstein over women. Trump and Epstein apparently shared a girlfriend and Epstein hinted that outscoring each other on women was a "high sport" for Trump. But Epstein was also afraid of Trump knowing he would do anything to protect himself.
'Michael Wolff is a disgraced writer'
The Trump campaign said Wolff is a disgraced writer who fabricated lies to sell fiction books. “Michael Wolff is a disgraced writer who routinely fabricates lies in order to sell fiction books because he clearly has no morals or ethics. He waited until days before the election to make outlandish false smears all in an effort to engage in blatant election interference on behalf of Kamala Harris. He’s a failed journalist that is resorting to lying for attention," the Trump campaign said.
The official version is Trump severed his relationship with Epstein when he learned about the sex trafficking allegations. "I was not a fan of Jeffrey Epstein. And you watched people yesterday saying that I threw him out of a club. I didn’t want anything to do with him. That was many, many years ago," Trump said earlier.
