NEW DELHI: An Air India flight from Jaipur to Mumbai was forced to return to Jaipur shortly after take-off on Friday due to a suspected technical issue, officials confirmed to PTI.
In a statement, Air India said, "Flight AI612 operating from Jaipur to Mumbai returned to Jaipur shortly after take-off due to a suspected technical issue. Troubleshooting checks were carried out, and it was determined to be a false indication."
After the necessary checks were completed and no real fault was found, the aircraft was cleared to fly again. The flight then resumed its journey and safely reached Mumbai.
Air India added that passenger safety remains its highest priority.
