What should have been an exciting day for Pokémon fans turned into a violent nightmare outside a GameStop in Colma, California. A brawl broke out Saturday morning while customers queued for the latest Pokémon card drop, leaving one man stabbed, two arrested, and the internet buzzing after a shocking video surfaced.
What Sparked the Mayhem? It all went down Saturday morning. Excited fans were queued up outside GameStop, likely waiting for a limited drop of Pokémon cards. But that wait turned ugly when two men reportedly cut the line, triggering an argument with another fan.

Miguel OrellanaFlores (49) and Isaiah Calles (27) reportedly jumped the queue like they had a Master Ball pass. Naturally, the actual fans weren’t having it. Words were exchanged. Then fists. What started as a verbal beef quickly exploded into a three-way street fight, all in broad daylight, with others in line running for cover.

A Mason Jar & a Brutal StabbingIn the video that’s now blowing up online, you can see the three men brawling as stunned bystanders scramble away. But the worst wasn’t even caught on camera. According to police, things took a savage turn once the clip ended.

OrellanaFlores allegedly whacked the victim in the back of the head with a glass Mason jar. Then Calles reportedly picked up the broken glass and stabbed the man multiple times over Pokémon cards.

Suspects Tried to Flee But Couldn’t Get FarOnce the stabbing went down, the suspects didn’t hang around to explain themselves. They took off in separate vehicles, trying to vanish faster than Abra using Teleport. But the Colma Police Department responded fast, tracked them down, and made the arrests.

Both were booked into San Mateo County Jail with a lot of charges:
  • Assault with a deadly weapon
  • Assault causing great bodily injury
  • Battery with serious bodily injury
  • Conspiracy to commit a crime

The Internet Reacts: “This Ain’t Pallet Town”It didn’t take long for the internet to weigh in. TikTok and Reddit lit up with memes, reactions, and the usual disbelief. “People acting like this over cards?!” one user wrote. Another joked, “Ash Ketchum would never.”

But behind the memes, fans are asking serious questions about safety, store crowd control, and just how wild the collectible card scene has become.

What should’ve been a chill Saturday morning for Pokémon fans turned into an all-out street brawl. With one fan hospitalized and two others in jail, the line between fantasy and reality got way too blurry.
