The native image generation capability became accessible to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, and Team subscribers globally on March 26, while the free users had a waiting period before they could access it.
The artwork is reminiscent of Japan's Studio Ghibli and went viral instantly on social media, with users transforming their photographs.
"What's happening with AI adoption in India right now is amazing to watch. We love to see the explosion of creativity--india is outpacing the world," Altman wrote in another post on X.
