The Dallas Mavericks have secured the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft . This would now allow them to draft top prospect Cooper Flagg if they wish to. This will be just the second No. 1 pick in the history of Mavericks after they selected Mark Aguirre in 1981. The NBA fans however, found it difficult to digest Mavericks’ luck with some even calling it “rigged” on social media as the development comes months after they shockingly traded their star performer Luka Doncic to Los Angeles Lakers.
