The New York Yankees started off the regular season with an outstanding win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. The Yankees beat the Brewers by a huge margin of 20-9 at the Yankees Stadium in New York. Following the win, Yankees captain Aaron Judge talked about the team's mindset following Juan Soto 's departure.

Juan Soto's departure from the Yankees was definitely a major hit on the team's lineup. While Judge felt that Soto was an irreplaceable player for the Yankees, the team hasn't suffered from his void much. Judge talked about the same during a post-game interview on Saturday and said:

"Nobody can replace Soto. He's one of a kind, but I think with the guys we added, we were able to fill some holes that we probably had last year."

Moving forward in his statement, Aaron Judge explained how the Yankees have filled the void left behind by Juan Soto by hiring other talented players. Listing out one of the names that Judge felt had made a major contribution to the team's lineup, the Yankees caption said:

"With the guys we added, we were able to fill some holes that we probably had last year. You get a guy like (Cody) Bellinger that you can throw in there to play first, play all three outfield positions. You got Goldie (Paul Goldschmidt), who is just a professional bat from the right side..."
Aaron Judge praised Cody Bellinger's presence in the YankeesOne of the talented stars that the Yankees signed in the offseason included Cody Bellinger. During a media interaction earlier this month, Aaron Judge talked about what Bellinger brought to the table following his signing with the franchise. Talking about this excitement to play alongside him, the Yankees caption said:

"I’m excited. I’ve seen him hit a lot of homers over my head, especially with the Cubs and Dodgers. It’s going to be exciting to see him do it in pinstripes. This ballpark was made for him — he’s a guy that can work the count and leave the yard in any direction, especially to right field at home."

Before sharing his take on Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge broke his silence on Juan Soto's exit from the Yankees. Judge confessed to having "no hard feelings" for Soto.
