The Cosmic illusion, Maya

Is this world real or is it an illusion? When people say that this world is Maya , what does it mean? Isn’t everything real, you, me, your world, my world and this world? It all seems so real. But is it?
Unlike a mirage in the desert, which we know is an illusion, this world seems too gross, too physical to be an illusion. Yes, a rainbow is an illusion. It appears, but it soon disappears. But how can we call this world Maya?
The best analogy is a movie. The movie seems so real, the actors on the screen, the music, the sound and the emotions that are played on the screen, everything seems real. But in the end, is the movie real? It is just a drama, a show, where actors come and go. Everything is just a projection. So is this world. It is a Divine projection .
Everything in this world is Maya, a Cosmic Illusion . This means that nothing is permanent. Everything that seems to be matter is in reality, nothing but energy that is being projected as matter. Because it is so lifelike, so real, we are enamoured by the Cosmic Illusion, and it seems to be real. But is anything permanent? No. Everything is changing. Everything is Maya. Maya has two powers, one power conceals the truth, and the other power projects the myth. With its two powers, it makes this world look very real, when in fact, everything is a Cosmic Illusion
It is because of Maya that we believe, we are who we seem to be. We believe, we are this body and this Mind and Ego, ME. The ego makes us believe, ‘This is my family, my house, my car,’ because of Maya, the Cosmic Illusion. Maya conceals the truth and projects the myth and our mind makes us blind. We live like man and woman, when in reality, we are a part of God.
There is no doubt that we are the Divine Soul. But Maya comes in the way of us realizing this goal. Unless we live in Consciousness , unless we transcend the Mind and Ego, ME, unless we control the body and its senses, we will live under the spell of Maya and we will suffer hell on earth.
When we realize the truth, then this world doesn’t disappear. But the light of truth shines and the darkness of ignorance disappears. We realize that everything is a Cosmic Illusion. It is Maya. In that moment, Maya doesn’t stop its projection, but we realize that everything is a projection. Although we are still encapsulated in a body-mind complex , we realize that we are the Divine Soul. We realize we are SIP, the Supreme Immortal Power .
