Romiit Raaj, who is currently seen in TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently adopted a Tiny Poodle, puppy for his daughter Reha. Romiit's daughter Reha has named him Messi and he is currently 6 months old.
Sharing how his daughter longed for a pet for quite some time now, Romiit said, "My daughter Reha had wished for a pet during our satsang at home a few months ago, and I surprised her with Messi. Reha is overjoyed and takes him down for a walk thrice a day. We are all very happy because Messi has arrived in our life. Earlier I was a bit reluctant to get a pet because it involves a huge responsibility but when he entered our lives I realised that animals don't expect anything but give a lot of unconditional love. My father-in-law has a companion at home when we are all away from home. The best time spent with Messi is when I play ball with him. I love brushing his hair everyday. My daughter named him Messi because of his hair and the way he keeps jumping around when he sees us in the evening."
On the work front, Romiit, who was last seen in the show Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si, is now playing the role of Armaan's (Rohit Purohit) brother in the show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Romiit in an earlier interview, said, "Nobody asked me to lose weight when I was offered this role. But, since I have a theatre background, and have been working in TV and films for the last two decades, I felt it was important to look the part. I had put on a bit of weight when I was shooting for my previous show Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si. So, I decided to embark on a fitness journey as soon as I started prepping for the show. I lost around 10 kgs weight for this role."
