Directed by the ‘Ghajini’ fame director A.R. Murugadoss, ‘Sikandar’ follows the story of a powerful man who is on his quest for justice. He dedicates himself to the protection of three individuals to whom his dying wife donated her organs.
Ahead of the release, Salman Khan, during a media interaction, urged his fans to visit the theatres to enjoy all the movies that are hiting the big screen. "I am hoping people working get good bonuses on Eid so that they can watch Sikandar, Mohanlal sir's L2: Empuraan, and also Sunny Deol's new film (Jaat). Three big stars are coming with big films and I hope all work," he said.
Further, there's one more clip of Salman Khan that is going viral, where he addresses how Bollywood didn't speak for 'Sikandar,' while Bhaijaan is often seen promoting movies of his fellow stars. "Unko aisa lagta hoga ki zaroorat nahin padti mujhe. (Maybe they think that I don’t need their support.) But, sabko zaroorat padti hai. (Everybody needs support, including me," said the actor in his conversation with Bollywood Bubble.
Sikandar Movie Review
The Times Of India gave the movie 2 stars out of 5. Our review reads - "The story and the narrative are the biggest letdown of this larger-than-life movie; even if they are trying to draw in die-hard Salman Khan fans, we wish they had taken the action notches higher. A few standout punches and stunts here and there could have probably salvaged this one."
