Rahul denies losing brand deals over Virat Kohli Feud

Rahul Vaidya, currently appearing in Laughter Chefs season 2, recently found himself in a social media spat with cricketer Virat Kohli. The singer and reality TV personality took a subtle jab at Kohli over an alleged ‘like’ on Avneet Kaur’s photo. Rahul later posted a video claiming that Virat had blocked him on Instagram, suggesting it might have been a technical glitch—similar to how he said Kohli may have unintentionally liked Avneet’s post.

He posted a humorous video and said, "He quipped, “So guys, Virat Kohli has blocked me, as you all know. I think that too is an Instagram glitch. Instagram ke algorithm ne bola hoga, Virat Kohli ko ki, ‘Ek kaam kar, main tere behalf pe Rahul Vaidya ko block kar deti hoon’. Hain na?”

The situation took a ugly turn when Rahul Vaidya referred to Virat Kohli and his fans as "jokers," further fueling the controversy. The incident has drawn significant backlash, and according to recent ABP reports, Rahul is reportedly facing the loss of several brand endorsements as a result. However, the singer has denied these claims, stating that the reports are untrue.

While reacting to the news, Rahul told India Forums, "Absolute nonsense! Mai koi influencer thodi hun jo brands chale jayenge! I wonder if all the people who are reporting this are smoking what??!”

During the entire controversy, Virat Kohli remained silent and there was no reaction from his side. But Rahul's comments did not not go down well with Virat’s brother Vikas, who responded to the entire controversy and called Rahul a ‘loser.’

He said, “Bache, itni mehnat agar apni singing pe kar le toh shayad apni mehnat se famous ho jaaye… While the whole nation is focused on the current situation, this idiot is on a mission to gain followers and become famous by using Virat’s name… WHAT A LOSER.”

The ongoing clash between Rahul Vaidya and Virat Kohli shows no signs of cooling down, with fans on both sides continuing to share divided opinions and reactions on social media. While Virat has not responded to the entire feud, he recently announced his retirement from test cricket.
