Sunny Deol was spotted posting cute family pictures on the social networking site to greet the fans a very happy Diwali. His brother Bobby Deol, sons Karan Deol and Rajveer Deol, and Bobby's son featured in the pics. The post went viral instantly and generated emotional feedback from the fans. He captioned the pictures, "From us to you #HappyDiwali", while one of the fans commented, "Love you, Deol family! Happy Diwali. Dharm ji would have loved this picture too." Another fan appreciated saying, "Most humble and loving family—respect to Dharmendra sir."

On the same day, the Deol family stepped out and greeted the paparazzi, and their video went viral too.

On the professional front, Sunny Deol's latest film 'Gadar 2' broke all box office records, collecting over Rs 500 crore, while Bobby made a huge impact in his role as the negative Abrar in 'Animal', which helped the film cross the Rs 900 crore mark worldwide. Such success has opened doors for Bobby in the South Indian film industry, with his next film, 'Kanguva', releasing on November 14.

On the other hand, Sunny Deol will be seen in 'Lahore 1947' with Preity Zinta. Its shoot is now over and ready to hit cinemas. He has also got one more film up his sleeves: 'Border 2'. Recently, he himself declared that he has finally signed Diljit Dosanjh for 'Border 2'. That has, in turn, made the viewers go all excited about it. As many are promising, it would be a "war film of all times in India." Well, in an Instagram video, Sunny Deol greeted Diljit Dosanjh as his "Fauji," and added, "You know faujis never back away. They go forward by the power of their spirits and their blood.".

Sunny also released a video of the same pattern that he had done for announcing the casting of Varun Dhawan in the film. The video carried some of the nostalgic moments from the original 'Border' (1997), intercut with Sonu Nigam's haunting rendition of the iconic "Sandese Aate Hai." As the music fades, it is Varun's powerful voiceover which takes center stage, proclaiming, "Dushman Ki Har Goli Se, Jai Hind Bol Ke Takrata Hun. Jab Dharti Maa Bulati Hai, Sab Chodh Ke Aata Hun.Hindustan Ka Fauji Hu Main.'' A message flashed on the screen: "Welcome Varun Dhawan to 'Border 2'."

The sequel to J.P. Dutta's original Border, Border 2 tries to continue the legacy of the film that had presented the heroic defense by a small battalion of Indian soldiers during the 1971 battle against a large Pakistani force.
