The Department of Posts has extended the deadline for submission of postal circle preferences by candidates selected through the Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) 2024 for the posts of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant . As per the revised schedule, candidates now have time until April 20, 2025 to submit their preferences online.
Extension Announced for Postal Circle Option submissionEarlier, the Department of Posts had set April 14, 2025, as the last date for selected candidates to submit their preference of postal circles. However, a recent notice dated April 17, 2025, now confirms an extension of the deadline by six days, offering candidates more time to complete the process. Candidates are required to register and submit their preferences for all 23 Postal Circles using the online portal developed by the Department of Posts.
The department has clearly stated that no further extension will be provided, and this is the final opportunity for candidates who have not yet submitted their choices.
