The Board of School Education, Haryana, has released the notification for the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2024. According to the notice, the board will begin the registration process for HTET 2024 on November 4, 2024, and will close the registration window on November 14, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can visit the official website for Haryana TET, haryanatet.in, to complete the registration process once the link is active. From November 15 to 17, candidates will be allowed to make corrections to their applications.

According to the official notification, all candidates who possess minimum educational qualifications etc. as delineated in the service rules relating to the teachers of all the three levels (available on the website of the School Education Department, Haryana (www.schooleducationharyana.gov.in) and also in these guidelines are eligible for the test (HTET) which will be conducted for the following three levels :-
However, a person who intends to be a teacher for levels (i) and (ii) mentioned here above (i.e. Teacher for classes I to V and VI to VIII) and fulfills minimum qualifications for both levels will have to apply Online for both separately. Similarly, if a person who also intends to be a lecturer and fulfills minimum qualifications, he/she will also have to apply Online separately. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions as given on the website for submitting “Online Application” for more than one level, reads the official notice.

As per the information, the HTET 2024 question paper will consist of multiple choice questions. TThe duration of the examination will be 150 minutes, and the exam will be held in pen and paper mode. Each question will carry one mark and there will be no negative marking.
