Terrorists Target Non-Local Labourers In J&K's Budgam, 2 Injured

Two non-local labourers were injured after terrorists opened fire at them in the Mazhama Magam area of Budgam in central Kashmir, on Friday evening. The two injured - identified as Md Usman Malik (20) and Md Sufiyan (25) of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh - have been shifted to hospital. A search operation has been launched.The attack comes nearly two weeks after yet another three non-local labourers were killed and many others seriously wounded in a major terrorist attack in central Kashmir's Ganderbal. The terror attack happened in the Gagangeer area of Ganderbal, while the labourers were working on a tunnel connecting Gangangeer to Sonmarg.One of the deceased was identified as Gurmeet Singh (30) of Punjab.Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had then condemned the attack, saying, "Very sad news of a dastardly & cowardly attack on non-local labourers at Gagangir in Sonamarg region. These people were working on a key infrastructure project in the area. I strongly condemn this attack on unarmed innocent people & send my condolences to their loved ones."Through an unverified social media handle, TRF, an offshoot of Lashkar-e-Taiba had claimed responsibility for the Ganderbal attack.
