Bengaluru: Several people have been reported injured due to peak rush during a festival at a temple on top of the hill in Karnataka's Chikkamagaluru. The incident was reported at the Deviramma hill temple in Mallenahalli in Chikkamagaluru. The devotees sustained injuries as they slipped and fell on the hills.This was attributed to rainfall in the area for the past two days.
The temple of Bindiga Deviramma in Mallenahalli welcomes visitors only once annually during Deepavali. Devotees reach the temple by traversing through Manikyadhara and Arisinaguppe of Bababudangiri.You may also like
