Actor Robert Downey Jr. recently shared his thoughts on Elon Musk 'cosplaying Tony Stark' during an appearance on a podcast. Known for his role as Tony Stark in Iron Man, Downey was asked about Musk’s tendency to adopt Stark-like traits in real life. For the unversed, Musk made a cameo in Iron Man 2 and met Tony Stark at the Monaco Grand Prix.

In the podcast, Downey revealed meeting Musk a few times and sharing honest opinions about the tech CEO. Downey suggested that he might consider “controlling his behaviour a little more.” Downey Jr. said, “I’ve only met him a few times. As an almost 60-year-old recovering white American male, I just wish that he would control his behaviour a little more, but that’s not on me." He further added, "I know that this idea of ‘It’s all okay ’cause we’ve got to get to Mars’ doesn’t really hold water with me. But again, you know, you have to look at all that he’s done that demonstrates why he’s valuable.” ALSO READ: However, Iron Man screenwriter Mark Fergus once said that Tony Stark was a mixture of Musk, Steve Jobs, and Donald Trump. Downey Jr. is set to return to the Marvel universe. This time, he’ll play the villain Doctor Doom in two upcoming movies, approximately.
