Amid running tornado warnings in multiple counties in Oklahoma, a weather report of a local radio channel posted on X Monday that a possible tornado was on the ground in Christie, Adair County, Oklahoma. The twister was moving towards Watts Community.
Oklahoma has recently experienced severe weather, including multiple tornadoes that caused significant damage. On November 3, 2024, a series of tornadoes struck, injuring at least 11 people and damaging around 100 homes across the state. The same storm is moving southwards putting several other Oklahoma counties at risk. The National Weather Service has forecasted fresh risks for thunderstorm activity, damaging winds, large hail, and further tornadoes across the region. The storm system will enter the Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and the broader mid-Mississippi Valley on Tuesday, posing risks for counties in those states.
