Ohio Social Sports Introduces Pickleball As A Tool To Fight For Elderly People : Here's How

Ohio Social Sports has embarked on a life-changing program for elderly people at the Lakewood Racquet Club in Lexington, USA. This initiative is for senior citizens open to Richland county aged 60 and above. It aims to promote physical activity, social connections and stresses on overall health development. Pickleball has come to the rescue of the elderly people to fight against isolation, which is a huge problem for them in today's day-to-day life. The factors are manifold like living alone, the loss of family or friends, chronic illness, and even hearing loss.It is backed by the unwavering support of the Richland County Senior Services Levy and is overseed by the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc., which is also part of the Ohio Social Sports' Senior Pickleball Training Program. It provides a systematic set-up for older adults to stay active while also giving the freedom to connect with others. “We are thrilled to offer such a high-quality program for seniors in Richland County.
