Vice President Kamala Harris refrained from commenting on President Joe Biden's "garbage" remark that sparked severe backlash. The 81-year-old was apparently comparing Trump supporters to garbage. When asked about her boss' remark, the Democratic nominee said that she "strongly" disagreed with criticizing people on who they choose or vote for. "Listen, I think ,first of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear: I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for," Harris said."I am sincere in what I mean: When elected president of the United States, I will represent all Americans, including those who don't vote for me, and address their needs and their desires," the Democratic nominee added. Her running mate and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, told "CBS Mornings" on Wednesday that the president "was very clear that he's speaking about the rhetoric we heard," not what the supporters assumed.Biden made the remark referring to the racist comment made by a comedian at Trump's MSG rally where he described Puerto Rico as an "island of floating garbage.""The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and it's un-American," the president said during a campaign call with Voto Latino, a Hispanic advocacy group.
Kamala Harris' 'Restraining Order' Against Joe Biden Harris' reaction came in as she braced for campaigning in swing states, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and North Carolina. Several social media users said that her 'non-comment' showed her campaign's symbolic 'restraining order' against Biden, who dropped out of the race in July. "Fox News just said Kamala has a restraining order on Biden … How on earth does ANYBODY take them serious?" one person said on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.
"Who knew Kumala , took out a restraining order on Biden... " another one added.Kamala took out a restraining order on Joe Biden. I think that says it all.
