Victoria Beckham has been dealt a major blow as the viewing figures for her new Netflix documentary have been officially unveiled. According to Deadline, the original Beckham television series, simply titled Beckham, debuted with 3.8million viewers. Meanwhile, Victoria's self-titled series, released on October 9, drew 1.7million fans to watch the first episode. This is according to official BARB figures supplied by overnights.tv. Meanwhile, the second episode in the series acquired an audience of nearly 1.3million in its first seven days. It reportedly ranked third on Netflix's Top 10 list in the U.S. and is believed to have garnered 5.6million views on Netflix globally.
The 51-year-old rose to fame as part of girl group the Spice Girls in the 1990s, but later stepped away from music to launch her own self-named fashion house. The series has also surpassed other UK original documentaries on Netflix this year, such as The Diamond Heist (1million views).

Express Online has reached out to Victoria's representative for comment.
In a teaser for the documentary, her husband David Beckham appears alongside her in the clip and is seen telling his wife: "You could make a cheese and ham toasted sandwich and we'd be proud of you," and Victoria then joked: "Let's be honest, I couldn't actually make a cheese sandwich very well."
Victoria has been with the retired soccer star, with whom she has children Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 20, and 14-year-old Harper, for 28 years, and she loves the fact that David has always offered her support and believed in her dreams.
The Spice Girls star also revealed why she agreed to do the docuseries to The Times, after admitting she used different styles to become someone else.
She told the publication: "As to your previous question - why I decided to do the documentary - it's because I love this industry. I have so much respect for it. It's an industry everybody participates in whether they acknowledge it or not - the reason being it's illegal to go out without any clothes on."
Victoria also explained: "I touch on my family, I touch on the Spice Girls, the problems we've had with the business, you know, the money we've lost - there have been lots of triggers. I cried. Like I said, I haven't seen the final edit, but yes, I did cry. It takes quite a lot to make me cry, but I did cry. You know, I've earned my place to show in Paris, I've earned the respect."
Victoria Beckham can be streamed on Netflix now.
