"The beach was huge when the tide was out, and the sand was lovely and golden. Great on a sunny day."
One of the famous surfing spots at the beach is called 'Sheep Dips' which refers to a large pool formed between two big sets of rocks.

A third wrote on the forum: "Fabulous beach with so many areas to explore. Rock pooling, clambering around on the top, bodyboarding, surfing. So much sandy area when the tides are out, and plenty of spaces for games.
"If you get a chance, head to the cafe (I think it's now called Lula) the deluxe hot chocolate is phenomenal! Lots of memories of this beach and will always be a favourite."
