Prince Andrew 'disliked mole on staff member's face so much he had them transferred'

Prince Andrew reportedly previously asked for a member of staff to be moved because he "disliked a mole on the man's face". According to an article by The Times, royal author Tom Quinn shared that Andrew was .

The 65-year-old royal and younger brother of King Charles III. In the article, Mr Quinn wrote: "It's true that some royals can display acts of ill temper. One former servant recalled how Prince Andrew insisted on a member of staff being transferred because he disliked a mole on the man's face." He also added, speaking of , that another former servant asked for a man to be "moved to other duties for wearing a nylon tie."

Andrew has previously been described as "very difficult" to work with - with staff even said to try and "avoid" the royal.

In a documentary, titled 'The Palace: What the Royal Servants Saw', Paul Burrell - who previously worked alongside the royals as a former butler - said: "People tried to avoid Prince Andrew because he was very difficult.

"Prince Andrew was always bombastic, shouty, and always swore, and that's something that you don't expect from a royal."

Previously speaking to the Scottish Daily Express, Mr Burrell also said of Andrew - who was thought to be the late Queen's "favourite son" - "He had his mother's ear, so whenever anything went wrong in his world he was straight to the [late] Queen."

Although his nephew, , has been described as "one of the easiest and nicest [to work with]", the 40-year-old is also said to have shown signs of a temper at times.

Speaking of Harry, who now resides in the US with and their two children, one of his former servants said, "I remember once in his private apartments I'd muddled something - some of his papers on the desk or something.

"He was immediately angry and it was out of proportion to the problem, or at least I thought it was."

Due to his temper, Harry was given a familiar nickname. They added: "...The joke used to be that Harry was very much like the Prince Regent in the Blackadder television series. People used to say that without a servant, Harry would take two weeks to put on his own trousers."
