As we bask in the warmth of the current weather, it's prudent to prepare for the inevitable condensation issues that come with colder climes. TheKarcher WV2 Plus Handheld Window Vacuum Cleaner, currently discounted by 31% in a limited-time offer, provides a solution to mould and dampness problems.
Originally priced at £79.99, this handheld gadget is now available for just £54.99. It effectively removes moisture, leaving windows and shower doors spotless and streak-free. Cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, has previously given her seal of approval to this device, using it to eliminate limescale and water marks from her shower screens and windows.
The vacuum comes equipped with a standard suction nozzle (280 mm), perfect for large glass surfaces, and a smaller one (170 mm), ideal for narrower areas like lattice and Georgian windows. This lightweight vacuum effortlessly absorbs dirty water without leaving any residue, and can be emptied without the user having to touch the dirty water.
Karcher described: "The device's lightweight and ergonomic handle makes operation a breeze. It cleans smooth surfaces such as windows, mirrors and tiles as well as glass tables and work surfaces in no time", reports Plymouth Live.
One satisfied customer who purchased the Karcher device to combat excess moisture in their home said: "As everyone else, just wanted the removal of condensation to be done efficiently and quickly as possible with the added security of less chance of the dreaded black mould."
They explained: "The reason for purchase was the constant condensation on my windows (in a flat) due to obviously hot showers, cooking, and the weather."
Another commented: "I was a bit sceptical, I used an old squeegee before, and that did the job, but I have to say this is better. It actually removes the dirt and liquid, leaving the glass clean and streak-free."
The gadget runs for up to 30 minutes per charge and boasts a 'lightweight' construction for easy use.

Besides Karcher, Argos stocks a Tower TWV10 Cordless Handheld Window Vacuum Cleaner priced at £26, which also delivers up to 30 minutes of operation from a single three-hour charge.
At Halfords, customers can purchase the Daewoo Hurricane Clearvac, also priced at £26. It includes a 300ml spray water tank that enables users to apply cleaning solution straight onto the glass, simplifying the procedure and boosting the efficiency of the squeegee and wiper.
Karcher customers were pleased with the WV2 as one remarked: "My windows have never been so clean. Does not leave marks. It is light and comfortable to use", whilst another buyer had mixed reactions, saying they adored the gadget for removing moisture but it wasn't as impressive as anticipated: "I have had a previous model for about 15 years, and it was superb. The latest version does not seem quite as good-the switch is not nearly as positive, and I find it hard to switch it on and off.
"The motor does not seem to be quite as powerful either. Nevertheless, a must-have bit of kit, especially if you suffer condensation on windows."
Another delighted shopper revealed: "I bought this recently and am so happy with it. Just sucks up any moisture on the windows quickly and efficiently and is very easy to use."
Buyers may also notice that Amazon offers similar options, including the Amazon Basics window vacuum set costing £37.99, which has been snapped up by 200 shoppers in the past month alone.
