former co-star and host of , Brooke Burns, is set to front a new game show in a new move. The American-born presenter, 47, fronted the US version of the game show The Chase when it premiered across the pond on the Game Show Network in 2013 and featured the quizmaster best known as The Beast. Mark, 59, took to social media and shared a post about his former colleague as she celebrated a huge new milestone.
Brooke is set to present the game show Tic Tac Dough which has been revived, 75 years after it first launched in the 1950s. The show which last aired on television in the 1990s has returned to NBC. The ITV favourite retweeted the sweet post of Brooke which featured a cute montage of video clips from her days on The Chase and Master Minds.
The tweet read: "For 10 years, she's created memorable moments and brought her unique energy to every game show she's ever hosted. We're celebrating @BrookeBurns through the years as we get ready for our newest addition, #TicTacDough premiering April 14th at 7p!"
Mark took the opportunity to swiftly correct the post, writing: "It is actually 12 years since we first recorded @thechaseusa for @gsn."
Social media users flocked to comment on the post as they gushed over Brooke's new show announcement.
One penned: "She is great!! I cannot wait." While another gushed: "She's really a great hostess!"
Brooke left The Chase in 2015 but it has remained a staple offering in the US.
Mark previously revealed in 2022 he had been axed from The Chase US for "no reason".
The Chase star - who has featured the UK and Australian version of the show - admitted he was "gutted" after not being invited back on the US version and the quiz genius previously participated in the ABC channel series.
Meanwhile, Brooke will front Tic Tac Dough which was originally created by Robert Noah for NBC and sees "two contestants compete to place three of their marks in a row on the giant trivia board. Both players must try to avoid the dragon, who lurks to steal their turns and stands in their path to victory.
After three rounds, the winning player moves on to face the dragon in the grand prize round, where the dragon moves strategically on the board to block the player's ability to make three-in-a-row and take home $10,000."
