M56 traffic LIVE: Chaos on major motorway as crash shuts down lanes near airport

Two lanes were shut down on the M56 on Monday morning (October 20) after a crash. The closure of lanes three and four from junction 7 to 6 resulted in the build up of congestion.

The closure in place could result in a nightmare for travellers heading to Manchester Airport too, as it's close to the exit for the air hub.
