The ambiguity over the name of Red Bull's sister team in F1 is set to be cleared up at the end of the season. Known as AlphaTauri from 2019 to 2024, for the 2024 campaign.

However, the name has been widely criticised, with many fans, pundits, and journalists opting to use abbreviated versions like 'RB team' and VCARB.
Edd Straw, of The Race, labelled the official term "the worst team name in Formula One history" and said it reflected a growing lack of identity within . And according to reports in Hungary, the team will now respond by changing the name at the end of the season.
In 2025, the team is set to be known as Racing Bulls. The design of the cars will also change, with the emblematic bull logo of the parent company set to feature more prominently on the vehicles.
However, Visa and Cash App will reportedly remain on as team sponsors with the current financial agreement remaining. Their own company logos will still appear on the cars, although are likely to be made smaller.
Visa Cash App RB are currently represented by Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson, following . They have traditionally served as a development outfit for the company's main team, with the likes of , Carlos Sainz Jnr, and having all come through the ranks.
They were initially formed after Red Bull bought out Minardi in 2006, who had previously competed in F1 since 1985. For the next 13 years they competed under the banner of Toro Rosso, with Verstappen spending two-and-a-half-years there before being elevated to the main team midway through 2016.
For the 2020 World Championship, Toro Rosso was rebranded to AlphaTauri in light of Red Bull's new deal with the fashion brand. , who oversees the team's driver development programme, argued the name change better reflected the 'sister team' status.
They notched their only Grand Prix win that season, with in Italy. This time around the team sits on 36 points in the Constructors' Championship, with Tsunoda the best performing driver with 22.
Ricciardo had 12 before being axed, with Lawson earning two points since coming in, after his ninth-place finish in Austin. The New Zealander is being tipped for a promotion to join Verstappen next season, with struggling.
