Delhi Double Murder Case on Diwali: 

A 40-year-old man and his nephew were shot dead by two armed men in Delhi's Shahdara on Thursday while his son was injured.

An official gave this information. The official said that Akash Sharma alias Chhotu and his nephew Rishabh Sharma (16) died in the incident while Krish Sharma (10) was injured by bullets. He said that the victims were celebrating Diwali outside their house in the Farsh Bazar area of Shahdara when they were attacked at around 8 pm. The officer said, "A police team was sent after receiving a PCR call at around 8.30 pm. The team found blood stains at the spot." Eyewitnesses told the police that the accused had touched Akash Sharma's feet before shooting him. All the victims were rushed to the hospital. He said that Akash Sharma's son Krish and nephew Rishabh, who were standing nearby, were also hit by bullets. The officer said that Akash Sharma and Rishabh Sharma were declared dead by doctors in the hospital while Krish Sharma was undergoing treatment. Police said that prima facie it appears to be a case of personal enmity. He said that statements of family members of the victims will be recorded and an investigation is going on in this regard.
