IRCTC Tatkal Ticket: After Diwali, people living outside Bihar want to reach their villages during Chhath. Due to this, a huge crowd of passengers is arriving at all the major stations of the country including Delhi and Mumbai. Due to the crowd of passengers, the condition of sleeper, third AC, all has become the same. In view of the crowd, the railway is running special trains, but due to the huge number of passengers, these are falling short.

The situation is such that even booking Tatkal tickets is proving to be a tough job for people. Users have claimed that today, i.e. on Saturday, the server of both IRCTC's website and app went down during Tatkal ticket booking. After which once again questions have started being raised about the reliability of IRCTC during peak booking time.

Could not book due to payment getting stuck

Many users on social media platform X have claimed that the server of the website and mobile application of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) went down during Tatkal booking. Many users have said that they were not even able to see the current status of the ticket. At the same time, some people say that their payment got stuck.

According to the tracking website Downdetector.com, many users are facing problems in accessing the IRCTC website and mobile app while booking tatkal. According to the report, more than 200 users have faced this problem while booking tickets today.

People took classes on social media

A user on social media platform X wrote, "Why does IRCTC's website go down for 5 minutes during Tatkal ticket booking? Is it so that agents take all the tickets? Is this a conspiracy?" The user further demanded the Central Railway and the Railway Ministry to investigate the issue and find a solution to this problem.

Another user wrote, "What is the problem with this IRCTC website? I cleared the cache, closed and opened the browser, and opened the app again. And I followed this process for many days. But could not book a ticket."

At the same time, another user wrote, "How bad is the ticket booking system of IRCTC. It was stuck at the same place till 10:10. Why are all the stations brought in the app during peak time? I was already logged in the app, but I was logged out because the service is not available right now. This is a service that can only be availed by agents, not common people."
