NIT Vacancy 2025, Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025: National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar has released recruitment for non-teaching staff. If you are in the technical field, then there are 7 technical assistant and 16 technician posts. For those interested in civil engineering, there is a post of 1 Junior Engineer (Civil). Non-Teaching Recruitment 2025: How much salary will you get?Now let's talk about salary. The highest paying posts are Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, SAS Assistant, Library Assistant and Superintendent. These posts will get salary from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month. Similarly, the salary of Senior Stenographer and Pharmacist ranges from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300. The salary of Stenographer, Senior Assistant and Senior Technician ranges from Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100, while the salary of Technician and Junior Assistant ranges from Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. Now the question is what education is required for this job? Each post has its own requirements. For posts like Technical Assistant, Junior Engineer, and Library Assistant, BE, B.Tech, MCA or Engineering Diploma is required. For posts like Superintendent and SAS Assistant, Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in any stream will do. For posts like Senior Stenographer, Stenographer and Senior Assistant, 12th pass is sufficient, provided you have typing or steno skills. How will the selection be done and what is the age?Talking about age, the maximum age for this recruitment should be 33 years. If you are from SC, ST, OBC or PwBD category, then you will get age relaxation. Selection for these posts will be done in three stages. First there will be a screening test which can be like a written exam. After this, there will be a skill test for some posts (like stenographer or technician), in which your typing, steno or technical skills will be checked. In the last stage there will be a personal interview, where your confidence and knowledge will be tested. After passing these three stages, you can get a job in NIT Jalandhar. The application fee is also not much. If you are from unreserved, OBC-NCL or EWS category, then the fee is Rs 1,500. At the same time, the fee for SC, ST, women or PwBD category is Rs 1,000.
