This time all the teams had the option of retaining a total of 6 players. In this, five players could be capped and 1 uncapped. Apart from this, the teams that have retained less than 6 players will now add some players to themselves through RTM in the mega auction.
If we talk about the purse of all the teams this time, they had Rs 120 crore. At the same time, a team could spend a maximum of Rs 75 crore on retention.
