Rory McIlroy is missing just one title from his illustrious trophy cabinet - and he’s already got his latest attempt to secure it underway. The Northern Irishman has headed to at Augusta as one of the most successful stars of recent years.

But he has infamously never secured the sought-after green jacket, something he will be aiming to change over the coming days. is in excellent shape ahead of getting his latest charge for Masters glory started.

He already has two titles to his name in 2025 - the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and The Players - and will be hoping to carry that form into the Masters. And with the tournament getting started on Thursday, McIlroy already knows when he will tee-off his second round.

When does Rory McIlroy play?

McIlroy kicked off his latest Masters campaign alongside and Akshay Bhatia on Thursday evening. And he will be grouped with the pair once again on Friday, with a tee-time of 2:58pm BST.

What about the rest of the tee times?

Away from McIlroy, some of his main rivals are in action slightly before him. Patrick Cantlay tees off a 2:25pm on Friday having been grouped with Matt Fitzpatrick and Rasmus Hojgaard. Meanwhile, Boorks Koepka is in action just over ten minutes later alongside Russell Henley and Sungjae Im. Jon Rahm gets his second round underway at 3:26 alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Wyndham Clark.

Reigning champion is also in second round action alongside Justin Thomas and US Amateur champion Jose Luis Ballester. The trio get underway at 6:23pm, just moments before Phil Mickelson takes to the course alongside Jason Day and Keegan Bradley at 6:12pm.
