Having a good old clear-out at home could turn out to be more profitable than you might imagine. One charity shop fan recently revealed how he bought a £10 box from charity shop and struck gold.
You could stumble upon an old collection of DVDs or, even better, a hoard of rare coins that could be worth a small fortune. A TikTok user with a following of over 200,000 claimed just two old pennies might make you a "millionaire".
The user, @thecoincollectoruk, posted a video highlighting two specific old pennies with different dates. In the clip, the coin enthusiast pointed out: "These two old pennies can make you a millionaire.

"There are two different dates you must look out for on your old pennies. The first is a George 5th penny from 1933, there are thought to be less than 10 of these."
They continued: "One of them resold at auction for £127,248 and others in the £70,000 to £80,000 range. It's definitely the most valuable penny to ever exist."
The focus then shifted to a Queen Elizabeth penny from 1954, which is also incredibly scarce. The coin collector elaborated: "There is only one of these known to have survived from a trial run of several hundreds according to the Royal Mint.
"This means the 1954 is also extremely rare penny, the last one sold in 1991 for £23,100. It's likely worth even more now with inflation accounted for."

Additionally, they mentioned an "MS 63 version of the coin which could be worth up to £60,000". The viral video has since racked up 4,000 likes and attracted over 400 comments.
One keen collector noted: "Penny black is the most expensive penny," while another excitedly added: "Hi sir I have this coin."
Another comment read: "I have four of these."
If you stumble upon any of these coins, it's vital to consult with a specialist to ascertain their value as they could be worth a tidy sum.
