Netflix's latest offering, Karma, a Korean crime thriller, has been gripping viewers with its "disturbing and captivating" narrative.

Launched last Friday, the series delves into the lives of six characters caught in a vicious cycle of vengeance due to their pivotal decisions.

The plot thickens with a man drowning in debt who discovers his father's life insurance policy valued at 500 million won and begins plotting, a woman facing her deepest fears head-on, and a reckless driver entangled in a cover-up who becomes vulnerable to a witness demanding silence money.

The official description for Karma sets a chilling scene: "In Karma, disparate lives intertwine under the ominous shadow of an unbreakable fate."

The narrative follows various troubled characters; "The story revolves around a witness to an accident, a physician traumatized by nightmares, a man whose was upended by an unexpected event, and another man drowning in private loans."

These individuals are unavoidably linked by destiny's dark thread, crafting a tense crime thriller about those ensnared in doomed complications.

Karma springs from the canvas of the trendy Kakao webtoon, brought to life by writer-director Lee Il-hyung, famed for his cinematic hit A Violent Prosecutor.

Starring in this taut series is Park Hae-soo as the Witness, Shin Min-a in the role of Ju-yeon, Lee Hee-jun playing the Debtor, with Kim Sung-kyun as Gil-ryong and Lee Kwang-soo (known for Running Man) as Glasses. Taking on the character of Yu-jeong is Gong Seung-yeon.
