The devastated family of a woman who was tragically stabbed to death inside a block of flats have said their heart's have "broken into a million pieces" in a devastating tribute.
Rebekah Campbell sadly died in hospital from her horrific injuries after she was stabbed during a "domestic incident" in Huyton, in Liverpool, on Tuesday, April 15. The 32-year-old's shattered mother said losing her beloved daughter was the "hardest thing" she has ever dealt with and said that the whole family had been devastated by her tragic loss. Her mum said: "The whole of Liverpool is going to miss your smile and your laugh."
were called to Knowsley Heights, Huyton, at around 10.30pm on April 15 and desperately administered first aid to the victim before paramedics arrived on the scene. A cordon was put in place outside the block the next day and part of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal in Litherland was shut off in connection with the investigation.

The family are now planning a funeral for Rebekah, known as Becca to her loved ones, which will reflect her love of pink and , according to the .

Her mum's heartbreaking tribute added: "You shouldn't have been taken away at such a young age – you really have left us all heartbroken. You will never ever be forgotten you were our everything Bec and always will be. Best daughter, big sister, niece, cousin and loving friend and Auntie Becca to your little people. Keep dancing Bec, forever 32. Sweet dreams until we meet again, keep watching over all of yous."
A GoFundMe page has been set up by Becca's family to help pay for her funeral. A message on the page reads: "She helped anyone she could so it's now time for us in some small way to return the favour and help the family any way we can."
Another one of Becca's relatives - who wished to stay anonymous - paid tribute to the young woman. They said: "She was funny, she enjoyed life. She's only got one sibling, she was a big sister as well. She lived every day, literally – she loved her dog. Her dog was like her child."
Becca's dog, a black Staffordshire Bull Terrier was never too far away from her. She continued: "Cleo was like her child, she had clothes and a birthday cake. I've never seen a dog cake in my life but she had a three tier dog cake. She loved her family, she was all about her family – she absolutely adored every one of us."
She added: "But I don't think it's actually hit us. This week's been different, this week, the whole family is just not dealing very well at the minute. There's a lot of people who we didn't know existed who have told us stories [about Becca] – she was really liked."
Although the family have yet to confirm Becca's funeral date, they have considered how to remember her. Her relative continued: "She was a pink girl. She loved pink, she loved Britney Spears, that's the only way I can explain her. She reminded us all of Barbie. We want to try and give her, if we can - a horse and carriage, we want everything."
