The Dubai chocolate trend is everywhere at the moment, with . It seems like every chocolate brand is bringing out its own version of the treat, which is usually a milk chocolate bar filled with pistachio cream, and crunchy shards of knafeh pastry.
However, now restaurants are jumping on the viral trend too, which is all over social media. This includes The Ivy, who recently revealed their limited edition Dubai Chocolate Bombe Dessert. And being the foodie I am, I decided to go down and try it to see if it's worth its £14.95 price tag.
With temperatures in the UK rivalling Dubai recently, the dessert, which has been around since Friday 20th June has come just in time.

The limited edition treat is a twist on its iconic The Ivy Chocolate Bombe dessert, crafted with the viral Dubai chocolate flavours.
It combines nutty blend of Kataifi pastry, white chocolate and pistachio encased in a smooth and luxurious gold-leafed milk chocolate dome with a scoop of dark chocolate ice cream.
This is then placed on a bed of fluffy pistachio foam, and covered with a sprinkle of pistachio nuts as it comes served with a creamy hot white chocolate sauce.
It went down to my local branch in Chichester to try out the dessert and I have to say it's delectable. The different textures are a treat for the mouth and the fact that it's a mix of milk, dark and white chocolate means it's not too sweet, which is ideal considering the generous size portion you get.
The only little thing that happened to me is that I got some of the pistachio stuck in my throat, but I do have a very sensitive throat, so that's on me.
And was it worth the £14.95 price tag? Well, considering most bars of Dubai chocolate are £10 themselves, I don't think £5 extra is much more to fork out when you're in such beautiful surroundings and out for a lovely meal.
Those who want to try it don't have long though as limited edition Dubai Chocolate Bombe will only be available until this Sunday (June 29th).
You can get it in all The Ivy Collection restaurants excluding The Original Ivy, West End (London), The Ivy Belfast Brasserie and The Ivy Dawson Street (Dublin).
Talking about the dessert, Sean Burbidge, Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection said: "This summer, with temperatures rising high, we wanted to transport our guests to Dubai with a twist on our well-loved The Ivy Chocolate Bombe dessert.
"Not only has the flavour profile proved to be popular in recent months, the unique flavour and texture combination of pistachio, creamy chocolate and kataifi pastry – complete with some luxurious gold leaf – makes a beautifully delicious dessert. Plus, the cooling dark chocolate makes it a perfect summer end-of-meal treat."
