A busdriver has been hospitalised after they crashed into a building in a busy city centre.
The unnamed driver collided on the corner of a street, just outside the Flight Club cocktail bar in Glasgow. The single-decker First bus smashed into the corner of North Frederick Street this morning.
Emergency services, including Police Scotland, rushed to the scene at around 8.25am today. Medics were also stationed at the side of the road. The driver was taken to hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. It is believed that no one else was injured.

Shocking pictures showed the aftermath of the crash as two sets of traffic lights were knocked down in the process. Police shut off the road to all traffic in response to the incident. Officers remain at the scene.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland told The Scottish Sun: “Around 8.25am on Friday, 3 October, 2025, we were called to a report of a bus having collided with traffic lights and a building on North Frederick Street in Glasgow. The driver of the bus was taken to hospital. The road is closed and officers remain at the scene.”
