Ruben Amorim has said he understands the transfer speculation surrrounding but wants to keep the Portugal star at Old Trafford. Speculation has mounted on the talisman following a difficult season for the club.
Reports have emerged of interest from the Saudi Pro League, but Amorim was clear in wanting to retain the services of his captain. Al-Hilal are said to be ready to lodge a significant offer for United's top goalscorer.
"I think it is easy to understand that [transfer speculation], not just because of the numbers but the way he plays," said Amorim. "He is a top player and we need to top players.
