Apprentice hopeful Dean Franklin becomes an unfortunate victim of the notorious interviews stage tomorrow night as he's left red-faced after a series of incredibly awkward blunders.
The Essex family man, who hopes will invest in his air conditioning business, loses a battle of nerves when he faces Dundee-born business guru Mike Soutar.
After appearing to initially get off to a good start, Dean claims that everyone needs air conditioning "now more than ever, especially with the increase in climate control".

A bemused Soutar questions: "Climate control?" Cringing, Dean responds: "Climate control, yeah."
Asked what he means by that, clearly having meant 'climate change', Dean replies: "So yeah, the climate, where we're living in. Erm... not climate control. Climate... Yeah, the climate zone is depleting."
"The climate zone is depleting?" Soutar echoes with a raised eyebrow. Dean goes on to claim the UK is getting "longer summers" which he says is an "actual fact". When asked where he's getting his facts from, he says: "That's just how it is, it's a fact."
As if that weren't bad enough, Soutar goes on to show a picture Dean had posted on social media of a sex object stuck onto an air conditioning unit. A red-faced Dean explains that they had been working in a sex shop and he thought it would be "quite funny".
But Soutar appears less than amused as he says: "It's a sex toy on a conditioning unit and it's currently on your social media. This doesn't say to me that this is a trusted organisation that's going to come into my home and treat it like their own."
Poor Dean is then dismissed and left to lick his wounds to his co-stars, admitting he's not been more embarrassed in his entire life.

Dean isn't the only one who faces a tough grilling. Convenience store owner Amber-Rose Badrudin, pizza company owner Anisa Khan, virtual assistant company owner Chisola Chitambala and animation entrepreneur Jordan Dargan are all forced to face scrutiny over their business plans.
Viewers will also see fan favourite Claude Littner back on screens this evening as he joins a line of hard-faced interviewers - and he won't be pulling his punches. Littner was forced to drop out of being an aide to Lord Sugar back in 2022 after suffering a nasty accident, and again in 2023 due to medical issues. He has since been replaced by series one winner Tim Campbell, who appears with Baroness Karren Brady at Lord Sugar's side.
Tomorrow night's episode will see Lord Sugar pick his two finalists, while three narrowly lose out on winning his investment. Who will be victorious?
