Speaking to after ’s latest success, he said: "To win a World Cup and now a Premier League is something really special. It’s an achievement I really, really enjoy but it would not be possible without my team-mates.
“They are the most important thing for me and I am just one part of the puzzle. They are really special. This team is really, really good and last year we showed it but it wasn’t enough at the end but this time, we made a big difference. Something really special. Hopefully we can enjoy this week.”

Asked if the goal was the most memorable of his career, he added: “It was really good. I don’t think I’m going to score that one again but I think the same against , when I score a good goal, a similar one so it wasn’t bad.”
Mac Allister, 26, signed for Liverpool from Brighton in the summer of 2023 for £35m and he has gone on to score 14 goals in 93 appearances in all competitions. And the midfielder is convinced that he made the right decision to move to Anfield, while he also paid tribute to former Reds boss .
He said: “Really, really pleased. I think it was the right decision for me. Not just because of my teammates but the club, the city is something amazing. I’m really enjoying my time here. It was the right decision and I always thank Jurgen because he was a really important part and Julian Ward as well.”
