You might add a passport-size picture to your resume, but what if the recruiter demands to see your full photo? The first question that will come to your mind is "Why?", and the internet can't agree enough. When a woman applied at a company for a Personal Assistant (PA) role in Noida and was trying to negotiate her salary, the recruiter sent her a "creepy" text. He asked her to send a "full pic" and link to her Instagram profile.
The woman was disturbed with the recruiter's message. She called out on social media and described about feeling "creeped out". Narrating the matter on Reddit, she wrote, "Applied for a job in Noida in the role of a Personal Assistant. The pay is good but the person/recruiter is being extremely creepy". "He even asked me if I was married", she shared.

More details
The disturbing case has come to light after the female job applicant expressed the troubling encounter with a recruiter during what should have been a routine hiring process.
In her post, which included a screenshot of the exchange, the candidate detailed how the interaction quickly turned uncomfortable, especially when she tried for a payment hike.
“Send one full pic,” the recruiter wrote, prompting the woman to clarify that she would provide any necessary identification, such as a passport photo, after receiving an official job offer. But the recruiter persisted, asking to see her private Instagram account to “understand her personality.”
She pushed back firmly, stating, “My Instagram profile is private. May I ask why is that relevant?” and requested a formal interview instead. The recruiter also inquired about her marital status before the conversation featured in the screenshot.
Internet reacts
The Reddit post has gone viral, drawing widespread condemnation from users who called out the inappropriate conduct.

One comment read, “That’s because they are looking for a different type of ‘PA’. Stay away from these creeps.” Another added, “WTF, that’s disgusting. A woman can’t even find a safe workplace here anymore.”
Many netizens urged the woman to publicly name the recruiter and the company on LinkedIn to warn others.
