'Patni Ko Vidhwa Bana Diya...': Amitabh Bachchan Breaks Silence On Pahalgam Attack & Operation Sindoor After Posting Blank Tweets For 20 Days

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is finally back on social media. He broke his silence on Operation Sindoor and share a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) after almost 20 days. For those unversed, his blank posts since the last few days had raised eyebrows as he is one of the most active Bollywood celebrities on social media.

On Sunday (May 11), amid conflict between India and Pakistan, Bachchan saluted the Indian Army and shared a couple of lines from his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan's poem.

Reacting to the Pahalgam terror attack which took place on April 22, he wrote in Hindi, "While celebrating holiday, that monster dragged the innocent couple outside, stripped the husband naked, and after fulfilling his duty, started shooting him. Even after the wife fell on her knees and cried and requested not to kill her husband, that cowardly monster shot her husband very ruthlessly, making the wife a widow. When the wife said 'Kill me too'. So the demon said, 'No... you go and tell…"

"On the woman's mental state, I remembered a line from a poem by Pujya Babuji: मानो, वो बेटी ' …. ' के पास गई, और कहा - 'है चिता की राख कर में, माँगती सिंदूर दुनिया' .. (बाबूजी की पंक्ति) तो ' …. ' ने दे दिया सिंदूर !!! OPERATION SINDOOR !!! जय हिन्द जय हिन्द की सेना तू ना थमें गा कभी ; तू न मुड़ेगा कभी ; तू न झुकेगा कभी कर शपथ , कर शपथ, कर शपथ ! अग्नि पाथ! अग्नि पाथ ! अग्नि पाथ," the megastar added.

Big B's weird X timeline

Over the last couple of weeks, the 82-year-old actor posted about 20 blank posts. They included different number in chronological order, without any context.

His last legible tweet was on April 22, which read, "T 5355 - The silent X chromosome .. deciding the brain."

However, it is not known why he only posted the tweet numbers and nothing along with it. He also did not update his Tumblr blog since the last few days and was also away from Instagram.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B was last seen in Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth. He will next be seen in the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin, with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan.

Bachchan also has Section 84, helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, in the pipeline, co-starring Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur.
