Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The recognition of Radcliffe School in Bhopal has been withdrawn. A three-year-old girl was raped on the school premises last year. The school will not get recognition from the session 2025-26.
Now the students studying in the school will be able to take admission in government or other private schools at their own expense. Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh has issued orders in this regard recently.
The complaint received regarding misconduct by a teacher in the private school Radcliffe School was investigated under the Right to Education Act, 2011.
In the investigation report, it was recommended to cancel the recognition of the said private school by March 2025. The District Education Center, Bhopal sent the case and sought approval from the State Education Center, Bhopal.
Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal has written a letter on February 19, 2025, that the proposal for withdrawal of recognition of Radcliffe School has been approved by the Government. Hence, instructions have been given to issue orders for withdrawal of recognition of classes 1 to 8.
