Raksha Bandhan Thali Samagri: Raksha Bandhan is a festival symbolizing the love and trust of brother and sister, which is celebrated every year on the full moon day of the month of Sawan. This year, this holy festival will be celebrated on 9th August. On this day, sisters tie a rakhi on their brother's wrist, wishing him long life, happiness, prosperity, and safety.

To make the festival of Rakhi special, sisters start preparing in advance. Decorating the puja thali is an important part of this. If some special items are included in this thali in the right way, then it is considered auspicious and fruitful. Let us know which things are auspicious to include in the Rakshabandhan puja thali.
Keep these auspicious items in the puja thali
Kumkum or Roli
Applying a tilak on the brother's forehead before tying rakhi is an important part of the tradition. There must be kumkum or roli in the plate for tilak. It is considered a symbol of longevity, victory, and prosperity.
Akshat (Rice)
The raw rice used in worship, called Akshat, is a symbol of auspiciousness. Applying Akshat on the brother's forehead after Tilak is a part of Rakshabandhan's worship ritual.
Lamp
Keep a lamp in the plate for Aarti. Performing Aarti of the brother after tying Rakhi is considered a measure to protect from the evil eye. This keeps positive energy in the brother's life.
Sweets
There must be sweets on the plate to show the sweetness of the brother-sister relationship. Feeding sweets to each other after tying Rakhi is auspicious and increases love.

Coconut (Shriphal)
Keeping a coconut on the plate is considered very auspicious. In many places, the sister offers Shriphal to the brother after Tilak. It is considered a symbol of Goddess Lakshmi. This brings progress and prosperity to the brother.
