Panchayat and Paatal Lok fame Aasif Khan suffers heart attack, says: "Don't take one day for granted, everything can change in a moment"
Actor Aasif Khan, known for his roles in popular web series like Panchayat and Paatal Lok, is currently on the mend after suffering a heart attack, according to a source close to him.
The actor is receiving treatment at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, where he is said to be recovering steadily.
"He suffered a heart attack. He is in the hospital," the source confirmed on Tuesday.
Khan also took to Instagram to update his fans, expressing gratitude for their continued support and assuring them of his improving condition.
“Over the past few hours I've been dealing with some health issues that required hospitalisation. I'm grateful to share that I'm now on the road to recovery and feeling much better,” he wrote.
“I truly appreciate all the love, concern and well wishes. Your support means the world to me. I'll be back soon until then thank you for keeping me in your thoughts,” Khan added.
In a previous post, the actor reflected on life, sharing a message with his followers:
“Realising after watching this for the past 36 hours Life is short, don't take one day for granted, everything can change in a moment, be grateful for all you have and all that you are.”
Khan has been a part of several acclaimed shows and films. He portrayed Ganesh in all three seasons of Panchayat, and played Kabir M, one of the suspects in Paatal Lok Season 1.
He also featured as Babar in the first two seasons of Mirzapur, serving as a loyal aide to Guddu Bhaiya (played by Ali Fazal).
In addition to his TV work, Khan has appeared in films like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Pagglait, The Great Indian Family, and most recently, Bhootnii.
