New Delhi [India], October 27 (ANI): The second edition of the annual Infantry journal, 'Rifle and Bayonet', was unveiled on the occasion of the 78th Shaurya Diwas on Sunday.
The Indian Army stated, "The 2nd edition of the annual Infantry journal, Rifle & Bayonet, has been unveiled on the occasion of the 78th Shaurya Diwas. With a focus on 'Technology Absorption,' this edition reflects the Infantry's transformational journey as it continues to adapt to the dynamic demands of modern-day combat. The journal is a testament to the Infantry's rich heritage and serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, experiences, and insights. It also includes stories of valour, sacrifice, and the resilience of Infantry soldiers, as well as inspiring accounts of our Veer Naris and veterans."
The Army added that readers will find discussions on contemporary security challenges, strategic responses, lessons learned from operational experiences, and insights into modernisation initiatives, capability development, and force transformation.
'Rifle & Bayonet' encapsulates both the core essence and ethos of Infantry life and its contemporary technological pursuits, creating a rich and informative canvas. (ANI)
