Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 2 (ANI): A fire broke out at a scrap shop in Maharashtra's Andheri East in Mumbai, police said on Saturday.
According to Mumbai police, the fire incident was reported in the morning hours of Saturday in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area in Andheri East.
Visuals from the site showed huge thick black smoke rising from the flames.
As per the police, efforts to douse the fire which was spread across a large area of the scrap shop was underway at the time of filing this report.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, they added.
