Tata Motors has revised the Tata Safari Pure variant with new features but there's a catch. As a part of the update, the Pure variant gets new features but loses out on multiple features. Also, the prices of the variant remain unchanged. The Safari has four main variants - Smart, Pure, Adventure, and Accomplished. The Pure trim continues to be priced at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Talking about the deleted features, it now misses out on armrests, spare wheels, tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems, LED lighting, second- and third-row roof lights, third-row air conditioning vents and auto-dimming interior rearview mirror (IRVM). However, it benefits from new features such as a reverse parking camera, a shark-fin antenna, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system .

In terms of safety, it gets 7 airbags, ADAS, hill hold control, three-point seat belts with reminders for all passengers and more.

The Safari is powered by Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which puts out 170hp of power and 350Nm of torque. The Safari is offered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter.
