Maruti Suzuki is gearing up to launch the latest generation of its popular compact sedan , the Dzire, on November 11 . The model, which has been seen in spy shots multiple times, features a refreshed design language. Here, let’s take a look at what to expect from the model.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire : What we know so far
From spy images of camouflaged test mules and others of the undisguised sedan, it’s clear the new Dzire will feature a newly-designed grille with horizontal chrome slats, redesigned bumpers, and sleek LED headlamps. Dual-tone alloy wheels and updated LED tail lights add to its modern appeal, while sharp lines across the body give it a more dynamic, assertive look compared to the subtler design of its predecessor.
Inside, we can expect Maruti Suzuki to pack the new Dzire with a range of features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, cruise control, and automatic climate control.
As for the engine, this new model will borrow the 1.2-litre Z-Series three-cylinder petrol engine from the Swift, producing 82 hp and 112 Nm of torque. It will be available with both a 5-speed manual and an AMT transmission. We can also expect a CNG version at a later stage. The 2024 Dzire is expected to command a slight price increase. We can expect the model to start at Rs 6.80 lakh, ex-showroom. The official pricing will be revealed on launch day.
