Tata Nexon

Among his collection, Ratan Tata owned a Tata Nexon, a testament to his pride in the brand. As Tata's first sub-4 metre SUV, the Nexon remains a top-seller, particularly after earning a perfect 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash test, making it the first made-in-India car to do so. He used to drove a pre-facelift blue model powered by a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine producing 108 Bhp and 260 Nm of torque.

Ferrari California: Luxury on wheels

On the other end of the spectrum is the Ferrari California, a hardtop convertible in Ferrari's iconic red. Frequently spotted in Mumbai, this car features a 4.3-liter V8 engine delivering 490 Bhp and 504 Nm of torque. Although discontinued, the California remains a prized possession in Tata's collection.

Honda Civic

Mercedes-Benz 500 SL

Ratan Tata's garage also houses a Mercedes-Benz 500 SL convertible in a sleek silver-grey finish. This elegant car features a 5.0-liter V8 engine producing 306 Bhp, highlighting Tata’s affinity for convertibles.

Cadillac XLR: Sporty and sophisticated

Another convertible, the Cadillac XLR, adds a sporty flair to Tata’s collection. This car, finished in vibrant red, is powered by a 4.6-liter Northstar V8 engine from General Motors.

Chrysler Sebring

Ratan Tata's Chrysler Sebring sedan, though not often seen, is confirmed by him in interviews. Its unique colour inspired the palette for the Tata Indica showcased at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show.

Tata Indigo Marina
