Shalini Passi's diet: What is the Ayurvedic diet that she follows?

Art collector Shalini Passi has become the stand-out star from the recently released season of Netflix show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives. The posh Delhi-based wife of billionaire businessman Sanjay Passi has won the internet with her fuss-free life mantras and charming looks. The diva has famously said that she refuses to hold any grudges or participate in gossip lest it harms her skin. Let's take a closer look at her fitness routine, what she eats in a diet and how she practices the Ayurvedic way of life to stay in shape and maintain her glowing skin.

During an interview, Shalini revealed that she lost around 30 kg of weight that she had gained during pregnancy in just 10 months after the birth of her son all those years ago. During an episode, Shalini was seen casually holding a conversation with her son as she works out and has even revealed that she exercises for 2 hours a day, usually between 4 pm to 6 pm, and no one is allowed to disturb her during that time.

The diva shared that she does pilates and dance to stay fit and never lets anything get in the way of her workout time.

Shalini shared that she starts her day with a shot of ghee first thing in the morning. She also revealed that herbal juices and liquids are a huge part of her diet while also divulging that she does not eat any processed food. On the show she said, "I do not eat anything that comes in a bottle or a box", adding that she only eats natural foods that help build collagen.

She wraps up her dinner by 7 pm in the evening and does not any raw food post 6 pm. She shared that her dinner has to be home cooked and even if she is stepping out for a social engagement she does not eat there and leaves home after eating her dinner.

Shalini Passi emphasised that she has eliminated or at least minimized all processed food and focuses on natural whole foods that help manage weight and are easy to digest. An Ayurvedic diet also involves mindful eating which naturally your calorie intake your appetite and helps you to stay healthy and avoids any sort of unexplained weight gain. 

Sharing that she "doesn't eat", Shalini has managed to avoid eating food that is high in fat, salt or sugar which helps her stay fit and keeps her skin healthy and glowing.
